Advised Shopping Center Developer Through Stalled Mixed-Use Project


Our client is a developer of grocery-anchored shopping centers throughout the Upper Midwest. A city-approved mixed-use project was stalled and at risk of being terminated, due to our client’s inability to secure a necessary grocery tenant as required by preliminary city approvals. We assisted the client to negotiate an extension of time to secure a tenant and led the client through a fast-track approval process to incorporate the needs of the grocer and our client’s development of a mixed-use office building.
