Common Interest Community Defective Design and Construction

When a townhome association wanted to pursue claims for defective construction under the Minnesota Common Interest Community Act against a large, national homebuilder, the townhome association contacted Larkin Hoffman. The Larkin Hoffman Litigation team, led by Jim Susag, represented a 99-unit townhome association pursuing claims involving defective design and construction of the roofs and attic spaces, as well as claims that the homebuilder had improperly designed and sized the association’s sprinkler system, leading to chronic landscaping problems. Larkin Hoffman mediated a favorable settlement for the client two days prior to trial.
