Dayle Nolan to Travel to Cuba with Minnesota District Judges Association
Dayle Nolan, shareholder with Larkin Hoffman, will travel to Cuba with the Minnesota District Judges Association in November to conduct professional research on the country’s legal system. The research trip offers an exclusive opportunity to lawyers, judges, legal scholars, law professors, and legal system professionals to learn about the Cuban system from the Cuban point of view.
Ms. Nolan and her colleagues will undertake a comprehensive study of the Cuban legal system, from the teaching of law to the criminal justice and judicial systems; civil and family code; business and commercial rights; and resolving domestic and international commercial conflicts. The group will be meeting with members of Cuba’s National Union of Lawyers and Officials of the National Assembly of The People’s Power in addition to witnessing the Cuban justice system in action during live courtroom visits.
