Helped National Transportation Services Company Gain Approval for Terminal/Warehouse Construction

Our client is a national transportation services company based outside of Minnesota. The company wanted to construct a new truck terminal/warehouse facility in a northern suburb of the Twin Cities. Their initial meeting with the city council did not go well; they were advised to pursue another site for their project. Notwithstanding the rejection, Larkin Hoffman was engaged to assist the client with developing its application for the chosen site. We worked with the client to document how its facility’s proposed use not only fit the site but also the surrounding commercial area. Notwithstanding opposition from city staff and the planning commission, the city council strongly endorsed the project by approving the required land use and zoning changes.
