Larkin Hoffman Launches Employment and Labor Law Blog
Larkin Hoffman’s employment, labor and benefits practice launched its “Employment and Labor Law Blog” this week. The blog will provide analysis on timely and relevant labor and employment law topics and developments, offering insight and perspective which is grounded in broad, practical and substantial experience.
Practice leader Phyllis Karasov said she would like readers to think of the blog as a way to access a practical perspective on the legal issues that employers face every day.
“We would like employers to know that we get it,” she said. “One week we might write a post about a topic that keeps them up at night and the next week we might discuss a topic from a perspective they never considered.”
“Our team is very excited about this new opportunity,” the blog’s co-chair Andrew Moran said. “We think that clients, potential clients and employers in general will find this new outlet to be helpful.”
In recent posts, the authors have written about romantic relationships in the workplace, the enforceability of employment contracts, what employers need to know about drug testing as well as accents, dialects and discrimination.
