Larkin Hoffman Welcomes David Swenson

Larkin Hoffman is proud to welcome David Swenson, an experienced litigator and prominent Federal Circuit practitioner, to its intellectual property practice. His addition to the firm adds depth and experience in IP litigation at a national level, as well as an extensive background in dealing with intellectual property and technology-related disputes.

In addition to his intellectual property litigation work, David advises clients on the valuation and management of IP assets, plus related business strategies. He has earned a reputation as an innovative trial lawyer and thoughtful appellate advocate. David defends technology companies, as well as their patents and other IP, in venues including the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, the International Trade Commission, and the Federal Trade Commission, in addition to federal district courts nationwide, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Supreme Court.

Craig Lervick, chair of Larkin Hoffman’s intellectual property practice, welcomed David as part of the firm’s long-term goal to provide resources for business clients dealing with IP and technology issues. “The depth of our IP practice is immediately enhanced by adding David to the team.” Lervick said. “His experience in dealing with IP disputes from virtually all angles adds to the strength of our existing IP litigation group, and provides a resource for all of our clients when dealing with patents, trademarks, trade secrets and other critical issues that technology companies face. We’re very excited that David is now part of our IP practice.”
