Paul Smith Elected Larkin Hoffman President
Larkin Hoffman is proud to announce that Paul R. Smith has been elected as president of the firm. He previously served as the chair of the firm’s business litigation department, a member of the Board of Directors and as the firm’s general counsel. Paul succeeds Bill Griffith, who was initially elected in June 2012 and served six years as the firm’s president.
“I want to thank Bill Griffith for the outstanding job he has done for the past six years. He has worked tirelessly on behalf of all of us and it is reassuring to know that I will have his wise counsel in the weeks ahead. Bill has led this firm with wisdom, humility and, maybe most importantly, with a smile on his face,” Paul said. “The strong management of the firm will ensure a smooth transition in leadership. I look forward to finding new ways to improve upon the great service we offer to our clients and to make this an even better place to work.”
Paul represents a wide variety of businesses across the country, focusing his practice on commercial disputes, product liability, insurance coverage and construction litigation. He is deeply rooted in the legal community and is active in a number of legal associations including the American Board of Trial Advocates, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
