Litigation Support Manager 

Larkin Hoffman, one of the largest full-service business law firms in the Twin Cities in Bloomington Minnesota, is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Support Manager to join our team full-time. This position is responsible for the design, implementation and overall coordination of litigation support systems, including personnel and litigation technology. Additional responsibilities include developing and deploying firm resources and use of litigation technology, project management, assessing skill levels and coordinating training, managing workloads, and managing performance of personnel. Candidates should have experience working with litigation attorneys to establish long-range litigation support plans, manage and coordinate the appropriate level of litigation support on case specific levels. This position requires an understanding of the litigation process, litigation technology, change management and personnel management skills.

Candidates should have bachelor’s degree and 7+ years relevant experience in litigation support experience handling case management responsibilities. Paralegal certificate and experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is required. Experience with Casepoint preferred, or similar e-discovery database required. Must demonstrate top level client service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Summer Associates 

Larkin Hoffman is no longer accepting applications for the 2020 summer associate positions. 

Working as a summer associate is a unique opportunity to experience the day-to-day projects, challenges and excitement of a practicing attorney. Each summer, Larkin Hoffman hires a staff of law students who have completed their second year of law school. In the past, many have stayed on through the school year and some have continued as associates.

Our summer associates program is formatted to give students a glimpse into different areas of the law in which our firm specializes. Summer associates have the opportunity to accompany attorneys in both the courtroom and the boardroom. Summer associates also work together on a presentation to be given to all attorneys on a current legal issue.

Our summer associates are given the opportunity to work with a variety of attorneys in all of our different departments. Each summer associates is assigned a mentor and is encouraged to approach their mentors with questions, concerns, and ideas throughout the summer. Work is assigned through a manager who monitors workloads and ensures that each student is given a broad range of opportunities. We understand the importance of feedback, and our attorneys take the time to evaluate the work done by summer associates in order to help them develop their skills.
