Practice Overview

Muna Omar focuses her practice on the intersection of law, business and technology, and all aspects of real estate and land use law. Muna works with business owners and managers to facilitate their goals and take the next step in their business by providing timely and effective counsel.  

While attending the University of St. Thomas School of Law, Muna clerked for the Hon. Judge Michael Davis and was awarded the Judge Michael Davis Scholarship for her work in the community and academic achievement, as well as for demonstrating how her work advanced the mission of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers. Muna also clerked for Larkin Hoffman, United Health Group and worked with legal counsel on IP, regulatory, trade and compliance projects at Target where she was selected as the 2017 Target Scholar. Muna worked as a certified student attorney for the University of St. Thomas Community Justice Project Clinic.

Prior to attending law school, Muna received her B.A degree with distinction from the University of Minnesota. Muna also launched a business that catered to the East African Community in Eden Prairie.
