Julie K. Seymour focuses her practice on family law, handling the following matters: divorce, including same-sex divorces, custody, child support, spousal maintenance and property division. She also handles post decree modification issues including custody, parenting time, child support and spousal maintenance. She assists families with the drafting of pre and post marital agreements. She also focuses her practice on handling third-party custody and visitation matters, adoption, harassment and protection orders and paternity. She has successfully presented a number of family law cases to the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Julie knows that family law matters can be extremely stressful and emotional, especially when involving children. She helps people understand and focus on their rights and options. This allows them to make decisions that meet their family’s needs for the future and reduce the risk of conflict. As well as being an attorney, Julie conducts both Social and Financial Early Neutral Evaluations.

Outside of her practice, Julie loves volunteering and spending time with her son and husband. She credits her father for making her an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Julie enjoys boating on the St. Croix River with her family, gardening, traveling and running.
