Larkin Hoffman is committed to serving the communities in which we work. One of the most rewarding services we provide our community is legal services to those of limited means. We encourage all legal personnel to provide pro bono services and consider these services to be part of our practice.
Larkin Hoffman was one of the first 14 firms to sign on to the voluntary Minnesota State Bar Association Pro Bono Standard. As a leader in our profession, we commit to providing 2% of the firm’s billable hours to assisting individuals and organizations dedicated to addressing the needs of persons with limited means.
The firm’s attorneys are active members of chambers of commerce and city councils, and serve on the boards of local universities, hospitals and museums. Our employees have consistently participated in organizations such as The Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, the National MS Society, Bridging and the American Cancer Society. We do well by doing good, as this spirit of dedication and teamwork makes for a positive work environment and plays a vital role in successfully fulfilling the needs of thousands of clients. Volunteer Lawyers Network is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to connecting Minnesotans experiencing poverty with private lawyers at no cost.

Women Venture
For over forty years, WomenVenture provides women of all ages, cultures, races, and income levels with the tools and resources to achieve economic success through small business ownership. Our attorney's provide pro bono legal assistance.
LegalCORPS
LegalCORPS offers free business legal help to low-income entrepreneurs, business owners, inventors, and low-revenue nonprofit organizations via volunteer attorneys.
Children’s Law Center of Minnesota
Children’s Law Center (CLC) provides free legal advocacy for foster care youth in Minnesota. CLC advocates for foster children through systemic reform and provides free legal representation services to foster children. CLC also trains volunteer attorneys to represent foster children in court.
Just Deeds Coalition
Discriminatory covenants have been used to keep people of color from buying houses in certain Minnesota neighborhoods resulting in a century of segregated communities. Our attorneys are working to discharge these covenants and build a foundation for more inclusive communities.
Tubman Safety Project
Tubman helps people of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds who have experienced relationship violence, sexual exploitation, homelessness, mental and chemical health challenges, and other trauma. Larkin Hoffman's attorneys provide pro bono legal services.
