As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, Larkin Hoffman honors the legacy and historical contributions of women throughout the United States.  This year, we would like to especially remember the legacy of one of our very own trailblazers, a long-serving partner and leader in our firm, Dayle Nolan who sadly passed away in 2023.

Throughout Dayle Nolan’s legal career, she fearlessly tackled pivotal cases that have helped to shape employment law and set precedents for gender equality. Dayle influenced the application of the Minnesota Pregnancy and Parenting Leave Act and significantly contributed to the early foundations of sexual harassment law in Minnesota.  She worked tirelessly representing and advising hundreds of employers and provided sexual harassment training to thousands of employees.

Dayle's dedication to advancing gender equality went beyond her legal practice. She was a pioneer in promoting diversity within our firm and the broader legal community, continuously advocating for the representation and the empowerment of women in leadership roles. 

More than two decades ago, Dayle initiated Larkin Hoffman's yearly Women’s Networking Event to provide a platform for professional women in the fields of business and law to convene, forge new connections, and strengthen existing relationships in an enjoyable and dynamic setting.

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, let’s honor the achievements of women trailblazers like Dayle Nolan, whose tireless efforts continue to inspire us all.
