Franchise Attorney and Larkin Hoffman President Joe Fittante has been named one of the Top Legal Players in Franchising by 1851 Franchise.

Fittante was selected for the honor because of his decades of experience representing franchisors and his leadership and commitment to innovation within the franchise industry. The publication said Fittante “has built a career as one of the franchise industry’s most trusted legal voices. Under his leadership, Larkin Hoffman has distinguished itself as a firm that gets things done in an environment where that is often easier said than done.”

Fittante is a past chair of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, the preeminent organization for the study and discussion of legal issues in franchising. He has also served on Larkin Hoffman’s Board of Directors, as the chair of its Franchise Practice Group and its Corporate Department, and as the Firm’s Recruiting Chair.

In a wide-ranging interview with the publication, Fittante talked about how he started in franchise law as well as the biggest legal mistakes he sees franchisors make.
