Last weekend, a team from Larkin Hoffman piled on top of a mattress and raced it down a snowy hill at Buck Hill in Burnsville. It was all to benefit the annual Bedrace for Bridging. Bridging is a Bloomington-based nonprofit that has been helping individuals and families in our communities with household essentials and furniture as they transition to stable housing.

“As a fellow Bloomington resident, Larkin Hoffman has supported Bridging from the very start,” said Larkin Hoffman President Joe Fittante. “Bridging does incredible work to make home feel like home for those who need it most. I’m proud our team continues to be a part of that important work.”

Founded in 1987, Bridging takes community donations for household items and furniture and matches those items with people who are moving into a stable housing situation.

Since 1987, Bridging has helped more than 345,000 people in the Twin Cities.
