Peder Larson was singled out as the Minneapolis environmental “Lawyer of the Year” for 2015 by Best Lawyers®, one of the world's most selective and highly-regarded directories of attorneys. Peder advises clients on environmental matters at trial and on appeal, provides expert testimony in litigation and legislative forums, and represents clients at the Minnesota Legislature. He represents mining companies in the taconite, copper/nickel ‎and nonmetallic mining sectors, solid waste companies, ethanol facilities, real estate ‎owners and others. 

Recent achievements for Peder include favorable decisions by the U.S. Army Corps of ‎Engineers on wetland permitting issues, defense in the Minnesota Court of Appeals of a Department of Natural Resources ‎environmental review decision being challenged by an environmental advocacy group and ‎enforcement settlements with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) and U.S. EPA.
