Silas Petersen practices in the areas of commercial and franchise litigation. Silas’s practice includes representing franchisors and other businesses in litigation involving breach of contract, business torts, and franchise statutes. He also has experience with trademark claims, employment litigation, and shareholder disputes.

Silas has written for the Franchise Law Journal and currently serves on the steering committee for the ABA Forum on Franchising’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Division. While in law school, Silas served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Patrick J. Schiltz on the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and as a Managing Senior Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy.
