Chris is an experienced litigation attorney representing businesses of all sizes and industries in commercial, employment, and general liability disputes. He counsels businesses and unions before disputes arise, with focuses on workplace investigations, discipline, employee benefits, and work injuries. He prides himself in taking a client-focused approach to litigation, not only working to make complex legal issues easier to understand and navigate but also working closely with clients to develop practical strategies that keep their broader business goals in mind.
Chris graduated from Mitchel Hamline School of Law, magna cum laude. Before entering private practice, he was a judicial law clerk for a state court judge in Hennepin County District Court. His practice has since focused on litigated civil matters, including dispositive motions, trials, and appeals.
Outside of practice, Chris is an avid musician reliving his glory days as the lead guitar player in a touring indie-rock band. He has played on the same stages as legendary musicians, Prince, Alice Cooper, the Misfits, the Replacements, and many more.
