Silas Petersen Interviewed for the Class of 2025 Franchise Times Legal Eagles

April 10, 2025

Larkin Hoffman attorney Silas Petersen has been interviewed by the Franchise Times as a new member of the Class of 2025 Legal Eagles, an annual list honoring top franchise attorneys across the country. Petersen was featured in the publication, where he shared insights on the evolving franchise landscape and the unique challenges small businesses face.

In his interview, Petersen highlighted that franchising provides growth opportunities for small business owners. He also shared his thoughts on how artificial intelligence will impact the future of franchising in unpredictable ways including having a potential to increase efficiencies. However, Petersen also sees a concern in protecting confidential information and noted that franchise agreements are starting to include AI guidelines for franchisees.

Petersen’s practice at Larkin Hoffman focuses on business litigation, including disputes involving franchise agreements. His experience in franchise law began in law school when he assisted in compiling case summaries for the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising.

Larkin Hoffman congratulates Petersen and along with Jessica Johansen who is also recognized in the new 2025 Class of Franchise Times Legal Eagles as well as our returning Legal Eagles including Max Schott II, Joe Fittante, Jim Susag, Sawan Patel and Henry Pfutzenreuter.
