Brandon Hughey practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and estate administration. He counsels clients on estate planning matters including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts and other strategies for passing on wealth in tax efficient and practical manners. As a Master of Laws in Taxation, Brandon has special education in estate tax, gift tax and generation-skipping transfer tax.
Brandon is known for his steady and practical demeanor—always seeking to find the right balance of complexity and practicality to meet his clients’ objectives. He frequently advises entrepreneurs, business owners and high-net-worth individuals by implementing strategies to preserve family legacies and meet charitable objectives.
After an individual’s death, Brandon advises executors and trustees in estate administration, including the preparation of estate tax returns.
In addition to his prior experience serving clients at a well-respected regional firm in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Brandon served as an attorney with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue’s Board of Finance and Revenue, bringing an additional perspective to his counsel.
