Megan C. Rogers advises and represents businesses, developers, and property owners seeking favorable government approvals including licensing, zoning, and other regulatory matters. She also provides guidance on bond financing for multifamily projects and real estate transactions including residential and commercial sales and leases, easement agreements, title registrations, and lot splits. Megan advises clients and industry groups seeking favorable determinations from state agencies and licensing boards.

Real Estate, Land Use and Zoning Law
Megan has broad experience working with federal, state, and local agencies, which she relies on to craft creative policy-oriented solutions for her clients. Megan served as a city attorney for cities throughout South Florida and most recently for the City of Bloomington, Minnesota. In her city attorney work, Megan worked with community development and planning agencies to create new opportunities for cities to grow and thrive by partnering with commercial and residential developers. Megan is highly skilled in drafting zoning regulations and development approvals. Megan is an expert problem solver, using her experience representing cities and property owners to get development approvals and resolve enforcement matters.

Zoning due diligence. Performed extensive zoning, permitting, licensing and entitlement due diligence for mixed-use, commercial and residential development projects.

Mixed-Use Development. Represented South Florida developers in obtaining zoning approvals for 344,000 Square Foot Retail Shopping Center and 1,400 residential units.

Conditional Use Permits. Negotiated conditional use permits to establish a variety of uses.

Corporate. Review and negotiate all purchase agreements, leases, lease amendments, estoppel certificates and subordination
