Larkin Hoffman's government team represents clients as they engage with all levels of government: local, state and federal. We work with lawmakers, agency decision makers and local units of government to resolve issues for businesses, trade associations and nonprofit organizations.
We lobby the Minnesota Legislature and state agencies, the Metropolitan Council, county boards, city councils and regulatory agencies on behalf of our clients to achieve successful government decisions. Our experienced team navigates through fast-paced political environments to ensure that our clients’ interests are protected and goals achieved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Our bipartisan approach to staffing provides effective representation when meeting with key elected and appointed officials. We use our knowledge of government to analyze and draft legislation; testify before committees and commissions; negotiate rule changes and sanctions; advocate in support of permits, seek government contracts and financial incentives for projects; assist with competitive bid and RFP submissions and challenges; and advocate before state agencies and the office of administrative hearings. We provide high-level interaction with Minnesota's government sector to deliver positive legislative, regulatory and local government results for our clients.
