Larkin Hoffman is pleased to announce that Shareholders Daniel Ballintine, Patrick Cole and Timothy Rye have been re-elected to the Firm’s Board of Directors, and Joe Fittante has been re-elected for an additional term as president.   

“We are at a critical point in the history of our Firm, and our shareholders recognize the important contributions Dan, Patrick and Tim have already made, and will continue to make, in pushing us forward,” said Fittante. “Additionally, I am honored to continue serving our team as president. We have made a tremendous amount of progress in the past year, and I'm incredibly excited about what lies ahead.”

Dan Ballintine has nearly 30 years of experience collaborating with businesses to develop and deliver successful strategies involving employment litigation claims, and every aspect of the employment relationship. Ballintine is a co-chair of the Firm’s Business Litigation Department, and his practice covers virtually every type of employment-related case, including non-competition agreements, trade secrets, discrimination, sexual harassment, overtime, FMLA and other claims in state and federal court.

Patrick Cole represents businesses in a variety of matters including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, complex business transactions, compensation arrangements, and compliance matters. He has proven experience in a diverse range of corporate and transactional legal matters including private debt and equity financings, shareholder relationships and disputes, real estate development, organizational and choice of entity, succession planning, and governance issues.

Tim Rye is a litigator focusing on real estate valuation and property tax disputes. He leads the Firm’s Property Tax Appeal Group and advises on all aspects of the property tax appeal process, including: reviewing properties for potential success on appeal, filing appeals and all statutory disclosures, researching market data, preparing analyses for negotiations, negotiating resolutions and litigating appeals.

Other members of the Board include Inga Kingland, Michael Salchert and Jake Steen.

Joe Fittante was elected to his first term as president in 2024. He has been with Larkin Hoffman for more than 25 years, serving several terms on the Board of Directors and as chair of the recruiting committee. He is a past head of the Firm’s Corporate department and former chair of the firm’s nationally recognized Franchise practice group.
